For Bollywood fans, Indian singer Udit Narayan is a man who needs no introduction. For decades, the 68-year-old has been delighting moviegoers with his soothing vocals. He has sung a bevy of Bollywood hits including Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Maahi Ve from 2003’s Kal Ho Naa Ho and Deewangi Deewangi from 2007’s Om Shanti Om.

This October, fans of Narayan will get to see him live in Singapore for the very first time.

Titled A Lovely Night with Udit Narayan, the concert will be held at The Star Theatre on Oct 23 – with ticket prices going between S$88 and S$688. Tickets are now available for purchase via Sistic.

From now till Jul 31, fans can enjoy 15 per cent off ticket prices. General sales will then commence on Aug 2. Those who purchase VIP tickets (priced at S$688) will even get to meet Narayan after the show and receive a signed poster.

In addition to Bollywood songs, Narayan has also sung in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. In 2016, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan – India’s third-highest civilian award – for his contributions to the arts scene.
